Three things make a post

+ Mom wants me to go to the doctor. "You've been sick for three weeks, enough is enough!" ...Kind of a dramatic way to put it, but eh, maybe she's right.

+ Judo is cancelled this week. The school is closed due to the annual teacher convention in the provincial capital, so we won't have access to its gym. Considering I need to rest up anyway (ugh), this is a convenient turn of events for me.

+ Watched The Dark Tower. I read The Gunslinger quite a while ago, and don't remember it very well (and didn't read anything from the series beyond that), so whether this is a decent adaptation of anything in it, I can't say. However, Idris Elba was mega hot as Roland, especially in that big shoot-'em-up scene toward the end. The eye candy was all I wanted out of this film, to be quite honest, so I was pretty satisfied with it.

The Dark Tower is a fantastic book series. Sadly I never read it completely. If I remember it correct I have read the first four books and the additional extra book.
I plan to read the whole series since like forever (over a decade ^^;) but somehow I always end up with different books or forget about it.

I also never got around to watch the movie even Idris is a very good reason to watch.

Three weeks! D: Definitely sounds like time for a check. Alas for no judo, even if it is convenient.

I had a lot of bones to pick with that movie, but Idris Elba was a FANTASTIC Roland. *_________* (Matthew McConaughey made a pretty good Man in Black, too.)
