New glasses, whee

yuuagoMy new cheap-ass glasses came in! Hooray!
I was worried that 1. there would be something wrong with them, and 2. they would look hideous. Fortunately I was wrong on both! :D
I can see! Or rather, I don't have to stomp down to the parking garage to get my driving glasses from my car if I want to watch a movie with subtitles. Hooray.
It's kind of comforting to have an extra pair. Just, y'know, in case something happens to the other ones. ...Not going to lie, I'm kind of tempted to order another pair, with minimal frames that'll go with everything, but let's leave that for another day. (And no, self, you do not need prescription sunglasses with rainbow frames! Even if they do look very cool.)
Celebrated by watching a movie. The Last King|Birkebeinerne, set during Norway's tumultuous 13th-century civil war era. Not bad, mostly unremarkable - but it did include some badass chases on period-accurate skis! Whoo! (And I could read the subtitles without squinting. This is the most important part. ;p )
