Dear Chocolatier -

I've jotted down a few ideas to help you get started. If you have ideas of your own that aren't on here, I'd love to see them. My tastes are pretty broad, so I'll genuinely be happy with anything that doesn't hit the do not wants. All ratings are welcome; I love both G and R-18 works, and the entire range in between.

For some canons, I only had ideas for one medium, so I limited my requests to that medium. Works in a different medium are welcome if you have inspiration for that!

Canon-specific Do Not Want: Please no human names or AUs, including the canon AUs. Please use country names and nationverse only. For art, please don't put them in their default/WWII uniforms (Norway's seaman uniform etc); other canon outfits that we see them wear are OK, or you can put them in outfits of your own design.

Feel free to disregard info from supplemental material (such as blog notes, Hetalia Collezione info etc).

Denmark/Norway

Relationship-specific notes
<3 These dorks are wonderful. I love that their relationship can fit into many different points in history. Both historical and ambiguously modern settings are equally loved. For works set during their union, I especially love it if the union is likened to an arranged marriage, with all the complications that includes - or even if they're just wearing wedding rings.

Fic ideas
- Quiet downtime during a serious situation. For example, the March Across the Belts strip mentions they played a whole lot of rounds of chess during the stalemate before Sweden attacked.
- Last quarter of the 20th century, finally moving their personal relationship toward something intimate after spending a very long time apart (they both had stuff to work through).
- Exchange of love letters, or regular letters where the affection is clear if you read between the lines.
- Masquerade ball! Do they pretend they don't know each other, even though they recognize each other? Do they feel free of restraint when they're behind the mask? Time period up to you.
- Historical setting + role reversal in the bedroom. Denmark might be the one who calls the shots in their union, but he loves it when Norway orders him around in private.
- One is exhausted, injured, or otherwise in a bad state; the other takes care of them. Could be historical wartime drama, or low-stakes modern "had a bad day", or anything in between.

Art ideas
- Dancing together (on a formal occasion, or lazy slowdancing at home)
- Out for a walk, with snow or falling leaves
- Playing chess together, historical setting or modern
- Cozy hugs and/or cheek kisses
- Ballet/Swan Lake AU: With Denmark as the prince and Norway as the Swan; both in traditional prince-style costuming (not Bourne-inspired, please)

Relationship-specific notes
This is one of those pairings that can be fluffy or creepy depending on how you spin it (or both at once) and I enjoy the whole spectrum of possibilities. So, happy consensual stuff is great, but works where consent isn't clear are also welcome for this pairing (if you're having Relations with the throat of delusion incarnate, what does 'consent' even mean, precisely?). I don't have any character design preferences for Sasha, so feel free to illustrate her however you see her.

Art ideas
- Weird Coffee Date (their canon weird date, or another occasion)
- Holding hands (carefully)
- Sasha playing with Michael's hair, or vice versa
- Michael surprising Sasha by showing up unexpectedly

Something cute and happy for these two would be loved. <3 One small preference: I know canon is otherwise, but I like it best when Galo keeps his shirt on ;p (though obviously there's an exception for R-18 works).
