[Hetalia] UK bros reveal

The fandom's been waiting over a decade for the UK brothers, and now we have a strip with them. Himaruya also shared a bonus strip (no translation of this yet, to my knowledge), which includes among other things a silly meme-inspired panel in which Scotland annoys England with bagpipes.
I like the new character designs. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but Scotland isn't that much different from how I imagined him in that one fic I wrote, so I have no complaints there.
Northern Ireland is charming! Wales is adorable! ...Scotland's cowlick looks silly and I want to snip it off, haha.
Confession: As far as "Places we wanted as official characters" go, I would rather have Republic of Ireland than Northern Ireland. But I guess if Himaruya was going to do the UK brothers, it makes the most sense to do the whole set of them; including Scotland and Wales but not NI would have been weird.
I'm sure some people are disappointed because their OCs are now noncanonical etc, but. Ah, well. Personally, I'm happy with what we got, though I was never invested in this bunch, so that probably helps.
Of course, whether we'll get more development of their characters and so on is... uh... Well, it's Hetalia, so not entirely likely. But then again, since England is part of the main cast, it's possible his brothers will pop up more frequently than some of the other new-ish characters, and they might get actual storylines. (Maybe?!)
If I weren't so busy, I'd write some Scotland/France to celebrate the reveal. xD
