Malignant (2021)

yuuagoWatched a film with a friend tonight; really missed doing that. My thoughts on Malignant are:
+ This film is bonkers. It starts slow, but just you wait.
+ I am really into Gabriel's long coat and leather gloves getup.
+ Assumed this was a period piece at first, until the smartphone showed up; seemed to be going for an early 2000s vibe overall, and I liked that.
+ I have no idea how they pulled off some of those scenes. Props to whoever was the stunt double for the fights/chases, because it must have been hella challenging to move in that way for those scenes. And all the parkour?!!
+ This is not a good movie, but I thought it was an entertaining movie.
+ What the hell is James Wan smoking and where can I get some?
