Soooo tiiiired. Admittedly, it's partly because I did a lot of exercise today. And also I had to get up very early. And I did a lot of running around doing errands. But, y'know.
I saw an advertisement for salsa dancing classes at the rec centre. Not something that I would pick up during a pandemic, but I am curious, so I'm going to keep that possibility in mind for the future. Jury's out on whether I would actually enjoy something like that - I'm not much of a dancing person - but it would be interesting to try.
Picked a book on pilates up from the library. I'm not too serious about getting into that, but figured it wouldn't hurt to take a look. I remember this stuff was really popular back when I was in university; lots of people I was acquainted with were going to classes. But I felt like I couldn't justify paying for that kind of thing when I could do yoga for free in my dorm room. ...Not to mention the whole 'exercising socially' thing isn't really my bag. Anyway, at a casual glance, some things look pretty similar to yoga, and others are very different, so we'll see if there's anything I want to incorporate into my regular routine, maybe.
Also: Bought new jogging pants today. Mission accomplished. I'll stick with the shorts for now - it's chilly at first, but not bad once I get going - but it's nice to know what when I do need something longer, I'll have something. Ideally, I'd like to keep working out outside as much as possible. Fresh air! Sunlight! (Though there'll be less of that soon, unfortunately.)
