yuuagoMan, people keep saying they don't want to eat with this heat, but I'm still as hungry as usual. Maybe it's because I've been keeping to my usual workout routine?
It's too hot to do anything outdoors, so I've been going to the underground parking garage and walking endless circles around it for the usual period of time that I'd go for a run. It's boring and there isn't any sunlight, of course, and not as ventilated as outside, but it gets the job done.
Oddly enough, in winter I saw lots of other people doing this (well, okay, not lots, maybe two or three?) but these days I haven't seen anybody else. Maybe we're just exercising at different times of day.
The gym in my complex is open as of yesterday, but I think I'll hold off on that for a while. It's a small, poorly-ventilated room, so... yeaaahh. I'd rather do it outside when the weather is workable. Or in the parking garage when it's too hot/rainy.
Pulled a face when I read the notice, since it included mention that you need to wipe down the equipment after every use. Like, of course? Even in normal times? Not doing so is rude AND hella gross?! Basic gym manners, dude. But I guess some people have to be told.
