So, a few weeks ago, I came across somebody mentioning Melanie/Helen Distortion as a pairing. And I thought to myself, "Huh, that's interesting, but it's kind of random, since they haven't met".
And then I listened to this episode and it turns out they... have a rapport? In canon?
[Whispers] Oh my god, they have a rapport in canon!
...Anyway. I repeat: WHAT. And like, Melanie was so... nice? to Helen (QUITE A CONTRAST considering how she's been toward Jon, though of course THAT is fully deserved), and Helen was so friendly and helpful (APPARENTLY NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME) and damn, I didn't expect this, but I like it. Dare I hope for another episode where they talk a little at some point? Who knows.
That's it, that's all, I don't have any deep thoughts. Oh, but also - Jon suffers beautifully. I just love when horrible things happen to him, it's great. (Errrr that sounds weird but you know what I mean.) I have a feeling that his plan is going to turn out really badly, because they so often do, but I ALSO want it to actually work because I want Daisy back.
