How is fic formed

yuuagoI have succumbed to the "just slap down the words and fix it in post" method of writing. Ugh.
The thing actually reads okay to me, but it isn't hot. Which is kind of a problem. Though maybe my recip will find it hot? Since they aren't the one who's been staring at it and fretting over it. Quite possible.
I just want my recip to have nice things, man.
Definitely going to try to write them something short to go with this. That way, if this particular fic gives me too many problems, I'll have a fallback.
You can definitely tell that I've been reading poetry lately. This isn't necessarily a problem, but... hmm. HMMMM.
