Wolfwalkers (2020)

yuuagoWatched Wolfwalkers on Sunday (Trailer). It's a 2020 animated film by the makers of The Secret of Kells and The Song of the Sea, two films I haven't watched but have heard good things about. It's set in 1650 Ireland, and centres around friendship between two girls - one with the power to transform into a wolf.
This is a beautiful movie, and very very fun. It does a lot of neat things stylistically that I don't know enough about art or animation to discuss, but my eyes sure appreciated the candy.
I wish this had existed when I was a kid, because kid!me would have absolutely loved it.
Give it a go if you like pretty animation, animal transformation, and historical settings. (And if you know a kid who likes wolves... yeah, there's a good chance they'll love this movie.)
