Elli did some fanart of characters from Pratchett's The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents. Ahh, it made me happy. :D

She so often draws delightful ratties, so of course her art is great for this book. ;) Come to think of it, I think her style would be well-suited to Discworld stuff in general. (Who knows, maybe she'll do more Pratchett-inspired work some day? I know she likes that series.)

Anyway, now I have the desire to re-read Amazing Maurice. I've only read that one once, but I remember enjoying it a lot.

I messed up the screen. /o\ And the battery also apparently has an issue that's getting fixed at the same time. (I can pick it up today, at least!)

oh hey this is excellent!
Ooh, I would totally recommend Amazing Maurice for a re-read. It's at once very much a children's book, and very dark, in that oddly balanced way that PTerry had. I reread it after a few years and it def stood up to the test of time, to me.
