Oscars thoughts

yuuagoWow, Parasite taking Best Picture was a pleasant surprise! Looks like I should watch it now. ...After the wait list from the library shrinks a little.
Disappointed that Klaus didn't win Animated Feature. It was a lovely film.
The Lighthouse should have won Cinematography! [/shakesfist] ...Ah well, it's nice that it was nominated. And I'm not surprised that 1917 won several technical awards, including cinematography, because it was pretty impressive.
Glad that Jacqueline Durran won Costume Design for Little Women. I really loved the clothes in that film.
And that's the extent of my opinions on the awards, as these are the ones I know something about. Which is more than typical, because very rarely do I see more than, say, one or two new films per year.
Are there any winning films that I didn't see that you all think I should take a look at? Aside from Parasite, of course.
