Little Women (2019) - Brief thoughts

yuuagoI took my mom to see the new Little Women adaptation this evening.
I haven't read the novel, and my mom probably hasn't read it in 50 years or so. So, looking at it without expectations... it was nice!
Went into it expecting something lovely and vaguely heartwarming, with pretty period clothing and maybe some bits of nice cinematography. It was everything I hoped for. ;)
And my mom enjoyed it a lot. Didn't have anything negative to say about it, which is rare.
Success! Zero regrets. Happy that I saw it on the big screen, though I will say that this kind of film would probably be just fine to watch at home too, for those who don't mind waiting for the library to get it on disc.
