yuuagoUgh, I'm exhausted.
Work continues to be absolutely insane. Should ease up in... mid-October?
Friday:
+ Was supposed to be a day off. Went to the dentist at 9AM. Cavity filling + got fitted for a night guard, because I've been grinding my teeth for years and they're like "seriously, you need one".
+ Getting fitted for that was DISGUSTING, ugh, I hope to never have a repeat.
+ Went to work after that for some overtime until I had Enough (around ~2:30). Probably should have stayed longer though.
+ Came home. Was exhausted. Slept.
Saturday:
+ Mom has discovered that her drivers license expired in 2016 and so much time has passed that she can't renew it. She will have to do a writing test and then do a driving exam, like a new driver.
+ Spent several hours trying to get her to stop catastrophizing (IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD, MA.)
+ I unfortunately will not be able to help my mom prepare for the road test because I only have a GDL license, not a full license. I won't be able to take the advanced road test and get my full license until like... July 2020. But I'll have to help her prepare for the written test. SIGH.
+ Went to the Registry and bought a driving manual for her and got some more information.
+ Went to the library and worked on one of my fics for FTH. Fixed a glaring plot hole. Smoothed everything out. It's almost done; just needs a title and summary and some final checks. Waiting on reply from recipient re: their Ao3 name so I can post it as a gift.
Sunday:
+ Cleaned the house from top to bottom. Including all of the chores that I hate.
+ Got groceries, which necessitated navigating through some really annoying construction. Then cleaned some more.
+ Rewarded myself with some taro bubble tea, which I've been craving for two weeks.
Upcoming week:
+ Will be four days of overtime + 1 regular day. I'm going to have so much work on my desk on Monday. ;~;
It's just a lot, really.

iddyiddybangbang was finished and posted.
+ I'm now almost finished FTH fic #2. 99.9% done! Then I'll just have one more charity fic left to go.
+ I don't have to do anything for the rest of the evening, so I'm just going to paint my nails and watch some nature documentaries and not think about or do ANYTHING for what's left of the day.
