yuuagoFinally finished the project I've been working on for... months.
It was a linen weave shawl*. Really love this pattern; it was kind of challenging at first, but once I figured it out, it was fun to work. I increased the size; used three skeins - 2 main colour (grey), 1 contrasting (black), and that used everything right up. My office gets really cold in winter, and I wanted something that would keep me warm. ;) Hopefully this will help a bit.
Worked it in Urth harvest worsted, which I've never used before, but found really nice. It seemed kind of splitty at first, but I just needed to keep more of an eye on what I was doing.
Will hopefully block this some time this weekend, weather allowing. I have a ton of unblocked projects - this summer has been really cold, and I can't be bothered to pin things down if they aren't going to dry quickly. But, y'know. Need to get them out of the project box eventually.
I would say I'll post photos when it's all done, but realistically speaking, I won't. ;p
What to do next? Probably something mindless (again) - I have a lot of television to get through.
