yuuagoHappy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians. ;) Well,I guess I'm a bit late, since today is almost over, but never mind.
+ I was thinking about going to the local parade, but it was really cold and windy and unpleasant today. Just as I was thinking "Well, maybe I should go anyway, to show ~community spirit~ and such," I looked out the window and it started raining. xD Oh, well. Nothing wrong with a relaxing day at home.
+ I worked on Norwegian until both Norwegian and English started to look like gibberish, so it's not like I wasn't productive. ;)
+ I got a great start on Camp NaNo! :D Now that I'm finished with one of my FTH drafts, the other draft is coming along really nicely. I'm still a little bit unsure about some things - I'm working with characters that I don't usually write, so it's a challenge - but I know where I'm going with it, and so far I'm having fun. I don't know if I'll be able to write the whole thing this month, but I'm going to try! ("At this rate you will finish on: July 09" Ahaha, that's hilarious. I doubt I'll be able to keep this up on work days...) Anyway, if anybody else wants to share my cabin, drop your username here.
+ My Sephora order came in, which was a really nice surprise! My birthday is next week, so I thought I'd treat myself to some fancy moisturizers. :D Quite unexpected that anybody would be delivering nonessentials today, though....
+ My parents are out of town until later in the week. I've been really enjoying the peace and quiet! Not to mention being able to play my music without headphones. :D Though it's reminded me that I tend to lose track of time, and I forget to eat and so on. I've been compensating by setting alarms and such. Make supper at X time, do the dishes at Y time, shower at Z... it's annoying, but really effective.
In all, it's been a pretty relaxing weekend. I'd really rather not go to work tomorrow, buuuuut.... c'est la vie. ;)
