VME Rewatch - Ep 04

This episode is batshit.
McGee is Very Cool. It's something that I'm aware of, but keep forgetting. I should seek out some fanwork with him one of these days, since anime canon doesn't deliver. I know there are a few things out there... (Though I think most of it is porn? I'd rather have plot, but, ah well.)
El posted some details about things that are different in the book than they are in this episode, and I find them really interesting.
I VASTLY prefer the fate of Anna Dolores in the anime, holy shit. The book ending for her is... not great. The anime ending is much more optimistic in general, I think.
Just going to continue snailing away at this rewatch business. Why the hell not. ;V The next ep is kind of weird, from what I remember. (I mean, weird as in different from the rest of the series, not weird in the regular sense. VME is its own category of weird.)
