Eurovision - Semifinal 1

The first Eurovision semifinal was today! Very exciting. :D

As typical, I wasn't able to watch it, since I was at work, but I was able to listen to it. I might go back at a later point and watch some select acts, who knows.

I'm very disappointed that Poland's entry didn't get through to the final; I liked it quite a bit, both the song and the glimpse that I got of costuming.

Australia's entry was delightfully wacky. I enjoyed it more than I expected.

I'd been curious about Iceland's song ever since I heard about the group they were sending. Unfortunately, I... didn't like it. Not quite my style! (Too, eh, growly?) How disappointing. But I'm glad they made it through because, well, something different.

And that's all I have to say about this for now. :'D

I KNOW EH. Sure, Poland's entry was a bit stylistically unconventional, but... it was cool. :(

poland didn't make it!? I've been living under the rock of finals, but dang, pali sie ended up being one of my stand-outs! I'm not sure who to root for now lol
