☆ Oh boy, icy sidewalks, just what I needed. I can hardly wait for all this snow to be gone! But it looks like I'll be waiting a little bit longer.

☆ This year's fandomtrumpshate raised $23,435 for charity according to the final total. I'm so pleased that it went so well! And very happy that the platform change didn't have a negative effect on the event. I'm really, really happy that I decided to do it again this year. :) Looking forward to working on the fics that people commissioned from me as part of this! I already selected a notebook for it. The method of writing story 1 on the left side of the page and story 2 on the right worked very well last year, so I'll be doing it again. A++ idea, self; you do get those occasionally.

☆ One of my mates recently got into Mo Dao Zu Shi/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. I'm somewhat curious about this novel, as I keep seeing it mentioned in various places, but I don't know when I will have a chance to read it. Anyway, as a note to self, the link she gave me to read it is here. If any of you are familiar with it, I'd be interested in hearing non-spoilery opinions. :)

☆ King of Attolia is ready for me to pick up when I go down to the library on my day off. I am Excited. Looking forward to this one. I'll probably devour it, like the previous in this series.

☆ I spent all day thinking about a new fic about my OTP that I'd love to write, but now that I'm home, I'm too exhausted to work on that, or anything else. Go figure. Man, it's been ages since I've been able to write some substantial Den/Nor; I love them so much but I feel like it's hard to grasp hold of an idea that I can actually put together coherently. ...Anyway. We'll see if a cup of tea helps. ;)

Oh, I read Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation recently. I liked it enough that I'm keeping up with the updates for it (I'm following the Exiled Rebels translation that you linked; it's almost finished), but I'm not fannishly invested in it. I do think that the story is well-constructed, though.

MDZS has been on my radar for ages but I've just never got around to starting it. Do share what you think of it if you do start reading it. I might end up starting on another one of the author's works first because a friend has been pushing me in that direction.
