yuuagoIt's taken me about a week to realize why the visuals on my computer made me feel so disoriented. It wasn't to do with the general upgrade in OS; it was something else, something small, something different....
It was the fact that I was used to having the taskbar at the top of the screen, rather than the bottom. Pffffft THAT is what was throwing off my groove.
A little story: When I was much younger (let's say 14 or so), I somehow moved the taskbar from the bottom of the screen to the top. And I didn't know how I did that, and I didn't know how to fix it, and neither did anyone else in the house. So I just left it there for over a year. And by the time I knew how to move it back, I was so used to having it at the top of the screen that I just left it as it was, and continued to move it up there on every computer that has belonged to me ever since.
