yuuago☆ I have reached the "black hole" part of the blanket-knitting. It's also roughly halfway through - I switched to the second ball of yarn today. Still have plenty of time to finish it, but yikes, I'm going to have to work a bit faster!
☆ We had a ton of snow dumped on us today. I am not looking forward to walking to the bus stop in all that. It's too early for snowboots, goddamnit. (But, apparently not.) Siiiigh, I guess I'll have to get my big coat out of storage. ...I don't want to.
☆ Watched The Girl King (2015) this evening - that film about Christina of Sweden. It wasn't great, honestly; I'm a bit disappointed - somehow it managed to be just slightly to the side of my preferences, if you know what I mean. But I enjoyed the 17th-century aesthetic, at least, and that scene with the tomatoes gave me a great idea for a fic with one of my favourite pairings, so at least I don't feel like I wasted my time.
☆ Finally slapped down some words on my NiF exchange fic. I was starting to get a bit nervous due to a whole bunch of factors - I've never written prose for this canon, my recip's prompts are great, I haven't done canon review in a while, what even is character voice - but all the stuff I'm worried about can be fixed later. The important thing is getting something workable down instead of fussing over it!
