A post in Norwegian floated across my dash today. I took the time to try to read it, and... managed? Mostly.

It was this post. Sure, it's only a few sentences, but I'm happy that I managed to read that. Especially since there were some words in it that I didn't know.

New words:
+spørsmål - question
+evighet - eternity/forever
+skisse - sketch

I am surprised that I didn't know spørsmål - I think maybe that is one of the ones that I learned in audio first, and never learned how to spell, and then forgot. Ah, well, maybe I'll remember it better now.

"Skisse" is a cute word. It sounds very swishy. :)

I think this weekend I will try to sit down with my textbooks for a while... it's easier when I'm alone, because then I can spread them out on the kitchen table without anyone bothering me. And I need to find my grammar book in particular, because I'm pretty sure when I kind of drifted away from all this, I was trying to teach myself past tense, and now I don't remember any of it.
