Aug. 17th, 2018 11:17 amJesus fuck, my command of Norwegian has become such crap since I was last actively studying. It's embarrassing!
I used to be pretty decent at remembering some things (well, decent for such a beginner, I mean), but now, ohhh boy....
I really should start working on the writing again. When I was writing letters in it, I'm sure I was making a million mistakes, but it came easier.
One thing I'm glad of is that I didn't delete the dictionary and verbordbok applications from my itouch even after I was no longer using them. They really are so useful, so it's good to have them on hand. (Even if I could just pick up my actual books, since they're right there on the shelf, but... NAH.)
Also: reminded now that there are a lot of words that I can recall by ear, but I can never remember how to spell them, because I learned them through audiolessons first. It doesn't help that there are a lot of swishy sounds (like gj- and kj-) that sound very similar to me and it's like, how to recall the difference, and so on.
Ah well, at least I'm having fun!
