[/claps hands together] AHH YES I knew Duan Baiyue had something planned to help Shen Qianfan out! And Yao-er came with him too! (I will confess, even though it's only been maybe two episodes since we last saw him, I was starting to miss that kid. :D )

Okay, so Yao-er is a pokemon trainer with an army of venomoths at his command. Got it.
(Though I will confess I've given thought to "Pokemon trainer Duan Yao" before. But I haven't decided what the ideal team for him would be, aside from poison and bug types, obviously. I guess he clearly needs an Ekans and a Venomoth, but beyond that...)
Anyway.

Not gonna lie, though, I'm a bit concerned. SOMEBODY'S PLANNING SOMETHING AND IT SOUNDS AWFUL. I wonder if Chu Yuan is... aware... of this particular assasination plot.
Aaand once again Chu Yuan bringing up the subject of the Magic Plum Tree OfLove Friendship. How many times has that thing been replanted, I wonder... Just keep the thing in the ground, man, no need to banish it to the Cold Palace. Duan Baiyue's love loyalty is unwavering!
Oooh, and now Ye Jin and the Old Master (whose name I can't recall right now). I find it REALLY INTERESTING that as soon as he gets hint that something might happen to Chu Yuan, Ye Jin runs to him. :D I mean, there isn't really any reason for him to trust this old guy's rumours, is there? They don't know each other very well, and Old Master seems kind of sketchy. Buuut there Ye Jin goes.... And now I really really want to know more about his relations with Chu Yuan even more than before. <3
The situation surrounding scholar Wen Liunian seems kind of sketchy, and I reallly hope he isn't part of some kind of Liu plot, because Chu Yuan seemed so impressed with him. And the way Chu Yuan laughed at the part where he said "I don't want third scholarly rank; I will place first" stuff was just so... so... adorable. ;3; Ahhh he is so cute in that scene.
And that's it for the week. [/FLOPS DOWN AND GROANS ABOUT IT] I want... more... sob. (Why do I keep falling for in-progress canons?!)
I will probably be requesting this for Parallels - if I do decide to do that exchange; still on the fence. Just fanart, mind you, because I can't come up with anything resembling a fic prompt right now. I just want shippy Chu Yuan/Duan Baiyue fanart, goddamnit. :V :V
