Subtitle Nonny has posted episode 06 of Di Wang Gong Lüe, so...! (And they also did revised subtitles for episode 01.)
Anyway, disorganized thoughts follow -
"You look like you're so polite, but you're pretty ill-tempered."
Hah! No wonder I like Ye Jin so much. I do like this sort of character, yes. :)a
(Though I will also confess that it's an accurate description of me, at times....)
"Me, become the imperial physician? As if!" ...Now, that (+ throwing things! ???) is certainly not the reaction I expected, even with the previous comment that dear Ye Jin's temper is not exactly as calm and cool as it at first seems. Wow... I wonder if he has some kind of strong political feelings, or what. He certainly does seem to have some Strong Opinions about something. Well, I'm sure we'll find out what his issue is eventually.
And then....
I was wasting my generosity, trying to detoxify you. When we were little, you faked being sick to tease me.
PFF. Well, okay, ahaha. I guess we know what kind of beef Ye Jin has with Chu Yuan now. xD I did not expect it to be such a purely personal thing - and now I wish to know more about how they got on as kids, how they knew each other to begin with, what their relationship was like overall, hmm... (Were they friends up until the referred-to incident, perhaps?)
Is it weird that the brief scene we see with Chu Yuan and Shen Qianfan just makes me entertain the idea of those two even more? Odd, considering it's such a purely professional relationship, but there's something about it - "The journey is perilous - We are troubling you" that is rather... [/vague handgestures] I don't know. I just like it.
...And then of course when the subject of Duan Baiyue comes up we're treated again to the emperor's unwavering trust in him. :D :D Including on the subject that he will not make his presence known. Heh. While I might be willing to lazily consider multishipping, there's still very much something about these two and their relationship that just makes me want to chinhands and make note of every tiny little detail.
WHOA and then things got rapidly serious - hmm, so the House of Liu is rolling forward with the rebellion plans and things are getting incredibly messy --
Something I did not anticipate wanting until this moment: Shan Qianfan whump
Something I am definitely currently enjoying: Shan Qianfan whump
Hm. :)
...Considering his conversation with Duan Baiyue, I get the impression that General Shen will get out of this mess soon. "You didn't say I couldn't help", hmm... Sure sounds like Duan Baiyue is planning something. But we'll have to wait to see what it is.
But augh, more waiting! The perils of ongoing canons. (Insert rolling around and grumping about it.)
I will have to watch 01 again with the revised version of the subs, though I don't recall any discussion about it needing major changes; it seemed to mostly be about timing/arrangement of the text + a few fiddly things. Nothing major.
