I'm too tired to brain, so instead I'm just going to think about the discussions/summaries of the VME novel with the Galdoune-run cruise ship.

That one scene where Roberto and Hiraga catch Ruggieri at a bad time absolutely makes it sound like Ruggieri and Julia are Involved. And by that I mean they're totally fucking.

I am 100% here for sleazy glittery Ruggieri/Julia, holy shit.

Someone suggested clothes fittings, considering that bit with the masquerade ball where Julia's dressed all fancy and practically dripping with diamonds and... yes. Do want all the slimy oh-so-questionable nonsense with a side of murder.

Plus, apparently Ruggieri isn't a clone, which would explain why Julia hasn't killed him yet... Hmm. (I wonder if we'll get an explanation for that. Probably?)

Ugh, I wish I could just read this thing myself, but. You know. [/vague handwave]

Also kind of want to write something related to the above. However:
1. Ugh, writing.
2. Working from a source that I literally have not read, and which doesn't even exist as proper translation, rather it's just summary notes dumped in a discord channel, is... well.... Hm. Very challenging, among other things.
3. But mostly, ugh, writing.

But, like, this is definitely one of things where If you want it, you'll have to do it yourself applies.
