yuuagoI have conquered all the clothes in my set of drawers! Hooray!
Next challenge: The clothes in the closet. (Dun dun dunnnn)
Like I expected, I have discovered that I have more t-shirts than any human being possibly needs. But at least I know where everything is! (I FOUND MY OLP CONCERT TEE, I was wondering where the heck that went...)
I just feel really good about getting my living space sorted. There are still a lot of bits left to clean, but it becomes so much more manageable when I break things down into little chunks and then attack it in 20-minute increments... It's just, I've been living in the same room for about eight years now, and I think it's making me kind of squirrely. I have no room for anything - but now I'm going to have room for things. Not as much as I'd like, but an improvement over the status quo.
Kind of wish I had something more interesting to talk about, but it has been fuckin' cold all weekend (again) so there isn't really much to say. I'm just glad that my mood is pretty okay today. And hey, it was sunny, that's always nice.

Date: 2018-01-15 01:15 pm (UTC)Haa, it's kind of comforting to hear that I'm not the only person with a T-Shirt problem. I CAN'T HELP IT, THERE'S JUST SO MANY COOL DESIGNS.
The only way I've managed to get rid of anything (though this whole cleaning ordeal) is by being strict with myself. If I don't actually like it, or it doesn't fit, it goes! I still end up keeping a lot of things that I could theoretically send to second hand, but it sure does cut down on things. BUT then again I have a problem with people giving me stuff I don't actually need/want, so it's very YMMV....
