Ahhh so, the recent Year in Hereafter previews have made me so excited, even though I know it'll be a while before we actually get to see more.



So, Karo has posted the previews of the printed version of the comic on twitter, and AHHH it looks so good! I will be buying it when it's available of course, hmmm I will have to think about storage though... This is something that's way too nice to throw in a shoebox like I do with my doujinshi. Maybe I'll have to get one of those... what do you call them... ah, yes, magazine file, that's what they're called.

Ahhh but I wish I could have the print version now (what is patience? Can you eat it?) Because, like I've mentioned on other occasions, I really hate reading things on electronics. I am so much an analogue format person, it's ridiculous. PLUS it's easier to canon review when you can just flip through it. No need to wrack your brain trying to remember which page such-and-such happened on so you can look up the details. (Or if you want to re-read favourite scenes... of course.)

Anyway. So. Print version! Very exciting! I can hardly wait!

But I can also hardly wait for Chapter 6.

So, it looks like we're returning to Lapland next. I didn't expect this! And I have no idea where we're going with it! But I'm totally excited to be along for the ride. It does make narrative sense to bring the story over there, considering the unanticipated disappearance and all.

Siiri looks so cool in that hood, whoa. Nice. :D (I like her a lot, really... I'm not sure what it is about her in particular, whether it's mostly a design thing or not... I should re-read the early parts to see if I can put my finger on it.)

But ffff it is going to be such a while before we can read that. And the rest of chapter 5, too. Holy shit the Ch5 previews ahhhhhh. Which I... won't link because they're patrons-only viewable, but. Yeah. Those previews are a fucking gift. Oh my god. It's like, if you gathered up a bunch of things that I love and dumped them all in a pot, the result would be something like that, or at least what those pages look like, probably.

Ffffu. What is patience. щ(◉Д◉щ) Oh well. I can wait... probably.

And I'm the same way. When I learned how to get long fics from AO3 onto my Kindle, it made life so much easier for me since my eyes hurt so much from the kind of job I have (I mean: all the Voltron bedtime stories I ever ask for! <3 Yaaay! *downloads all the whump fics...and some smut*)

I love Siiri! Can't wait to revisit her and everyone else at Lapland! :D The concept art is really interesting. Helmi looks like a tiny girl, but the profile has her listed as 12 years old. I wonder if we'll be getting a flashback? (Also, Harri looks different, but I wonder if that's because Karo's style changed over time.)

And ARGH you're teasing me so much about those Chapter 5 previews! XD I still don't have a Patreon and I can't wait to see them! I wonder when YiH is going off hiatus because I'm just super excited to see this kick off again. :D

Heck, even e-readers try my patience - I guess there's just something about a book that you need to plug in to charge occasionally that makes my brain malfunction. xD Though it sure is convenient to be able to carry so many things around.

OOH FLASHBACK. Maybe? I didn't even think about that. But maybe?
Could be a style-shift for some things. Iiiii really have no idea at this point. xD

Heee, I used to hate e-readers too. XD Mine ate battery power like it was no one's business. Then I figured out how to save up energy on it so it could last a while, so I was happy with that. :)

But print books still dominate my heart, yes. I cannot wait until SSSS Book 2 is ready for print, and I wish I had a hard copy of aRTD.

I KNOW EH. When I began reading it, I didn't expect to become so attached, but here we are.

But anyway. OMG YES you should cosplay her! Or, well, consider it for the future after the chapter actually drops and we see what that outfit consists of, but. Yes. I highly encourage YiH cosplay xD Especially that one because I bet you would look VERY cool.
