Yuuago + Pokemon Go = Yuuapogo

Pokemon GO rolled out in Canada! Whoo! And it's playable on my ipod touch! Excellent!

...Well, okay. For a certain definition of "playable". Like, itouch doesn't have gps, and I'm obviously confined by wireless. Which means I'm... stuck playing it in my house for the moment. There aren't really any places nearby that have wifi. So, that's kind of a bummer, because I can't play it as intended - I really would have liked to be able to wander around the neighbourhood like everyone else.

Buuuut that's okay, because I already managed to catch some pokemon. :D And I guess if I really feel like tramping around in the bushes, there's a geocache somewhere in the neighbourhood....

Hopefully there will be a pokestop at a really obvious wifi location, like the library or city hall. Buuut I'm going to have to wait until my day off before I can see about that, I guess. [/shakesfist] Ah well. Not the end of the world. :D

I'm playing on my phone, but I live so rurally that there isn't really much around me - I need to drive out of town to find the pokemon which I only do once or twice a week. So I kind of feel your pain.

But it's still heaps of fun so far!

Hooray! I'm so glad it works on your device, even if it doesn't have the full capabilities. I'd be very surprised if your library wasn't a pokestop or a gym, because so far all the libraries I've encountered here have been gyms. (A pokestop would be better for you though, since you can get stuff from them.)

To be honest, there is a part of me - the Responsible part of me - that is glad I'm handicapped, because I can just see myself being one of those weirdos who goes tramping around in a park at midnight. :'D So... maybe it's for the better that this isn't as much of a time-sink as it could otherwise be. It'll stop me from being glued to my device.

Crossing my fingers in hopes I'll find something downtown... That's good to know about the libraries, at least. *_*
