☆ A discussion* left some half-baked Ex Machina ideas floating around my head. It's been a while since I wrote something for this fandom - maybe I should follow up on that? ...Never mind that I have some fic deadlines looming. ;V But heyyy why not try. Man, it really surprises me that this became one of my fandoms; it's not the sort of thing I would typically lean to.

☆ Canada Post might be going on strike soon, or so I hear. Damn it, postal service was JUST resumed here... grumble, grumble. (And I might, perhaps, be waiting for a package.) WELL, we'll just have to wait it out, I guess.

☆ This might sound crazy, but I can hardly wait for it to start getting a bit dark again. I mean, I like daylight, but... there's daylight, and then there's daylight until midnight. Can I have night at 10 PM, please? That would be nice.

Huh.. When I was paying my American-based American Express (that I still have registered to an American address), i got a popup about a postal strike. I assumed it was for the USPS, but maybe it was Canada Post? Maybe BOTH!?

Also you take that back about that inferior product that dares to steal the name of liquorice. (jk, twizzlers are awesome)

false alarm - I just checked the amex page and the top right shows I'm accessing my account through the canadian page, even though everything about my account is american. ;D

There has been buzz about a Canada Post strike, so it's probably that. Or maybe both. Though this is definitely a situation where "Why not both?" is definitely an unwanted situation. xD

Shhh all licorice is good licorice. Except for the grape-flavoured kind. That one is a little weird.

Agreed 100% about the daylight thing x.x last night I had the displeasure of having to pick between having screaming kids playing outside my window and getting any fresh cool air at all. (I picked sleep over temperature, boo)
