☆ I am so glad that Chocolate Box is over. I am totally exchanged out. x_x There is another exchange that I'm kind of eyeing, but... no. Just, like, no. If I do anything for that, it'll be treats only, because mmmnope. Can hardly wait for author reveals, though. I want to know who my writers were! Or maybe they were both the same person?

☆ Speaking of which, my gifts from that exchange were two cute A Redtail's Dream fics: Dog Training (postcanon Hannu & Ville), and Responsibility (very postcanon/future Jonna/Riikka). <3 Hooray! I'm very happy with these. :D

☆ This was a long weekend (four-day weekend, even!) and I feel like I accomplished absolutely nothing. Which is not entirely true... I did a lot of things, but a lot of them were writing-related, so I guess it makes sense that it feels like I didn't do anything. Plus, I stayed home for two of those days, and... not going out always makes me feel weird.

☆ I think I'm going to have to make myself an eye appointment, argh. Keep finding myself squinting a lot. Though it could be that I just spend too much time in front of screens, but... hmm. Guess it'll be best to just make sure. It's been, uh, a while. Sigh. Hopefully it'll just be a matter of needing less screen time. (Not sure what I can do about that job-wise, but there are some ways I can tackle it at home....)

Oh, I know what you mean about being exchanged out! That's why I didn't participate in Chocolate Box, despite really loving the premise. I'd just done too many exchanges in the last half year, with not enough breaks.

I've been feeling a bit exchanged out myself (which is a bit of a problem, given that I run two), but then again, I am going to sign up for the Star Wars exchange so hard once I figure out how it works/I have free time to write a letter, so idk.

TOTALLY know what you mean about the exchanges. I've only done two so far but it feels like so much more than that x.x Especially since they were almost one after the other. I think I need to take some time and finish some of my WIP stuff and get that out there first.

Agreeing with everybody, exchanges are unbelievably hard work. For me anyway. And I kept coming across people who would have so many in their repertoire (like I'd see them with lists full of "for X" in their works page, and they would have so many dear author letters on their blogs, so I figured they must do a lot of these) and how. How. Does anybody have that much energy. I admire it, tho!

Man, I can't imagine that at all :x they must work much better under pressure with deadlines than I can. Exchanges are always time-sensitive, WIPs aren't.
