☆ Finished writing something! And it didn't turn out terribly! Not my best work by any stretch, but not as bad as I had originally thought. So, clearly I need to do that thing that I always tell people, which comes down to "write a shitload of stuff and eventually some of it will turn out okay." Can do! Let's keep going!
☆ Spent a lot of time futzing around, doing nothing in particular, while listening to buckets of kantele music. Not the most productive use of one's time, but it sure was relaxing.
☆ Went for a long walk! It was cold! Brrrr, it was 4C for most of the morning, and I was just like, really? I bought a new jacket the other day, but it's a light cotton thing, and soon it'll be too cold to wear it! (Awfully stylish, though. I'll wear the damn thing even if I do get cold. And I certainly will be cold, I'm sure.)
☆ Tried to do some reading. Utterly failed at it. I don't know why my brain keeps going a mile a minute. It's like, I can't sit down and concentrate on anything for even five minutes. Maybe I'm just reading the wrong things. Right now, I'm trying to get through a P D James novel, and it just isn't clicking. A damn shame - I normally love crime fiction, though I haven't read anything by this author before, and when I picked it up at a used bookstore in Victoria the opening page really intrigued me. Maybe I should... try something else... I have a few graphic novels kicking around that I haven't read yet, and a couple volumes of Black Jack that I never got around to. :|a Maybe....
