Jun. 15th, 2015 10:33 pmChrist on a cracker, my feet hurt like the dickens. SO MUCH WALKING. And I do plenty of that ordinarily, but of course on vacation, there is even more of that. Owwww.
But, anyway. Went on a ghost walk tonight. It was neat! It was my first time going on one. And now I'm very regretful that I never had the chance to go on one at any of the other places I have been to. (Especially Stockholm!! Due to scheduling conflicts, Sea and I couldn't arrange for that when I was in Stockholm. ALAS. Maybe next time? Because I do hope to go there again.)
I've been a little bit absent from the friends list of late, at least comment-wise, but rest assured, I am creeping on you all.
Completely unrelated: Picked up Margaret Atwood's The Robber Bride a few days ago. Have been reading it since. It's really good so far! With the exception of the MaddAddam trilogy, my reaction to her writing has been really mixed (and hell, even within that trilogy my love is not exactly without some sticking points) but I really like this one so far, it's a little surprising. I don't know how I will feel at the end, but it's a good start.

Date: 2015-06-17 02:52 am (UTC)It was in the daylight, because the sun stays up late here, so it wasn't as creepy as it could have been. ;) Still fun, though.
I knew a lot of the basics, but was reminded that Victoria was a gold rush town. And of course that kind of thing comes along with lots of horrible murder. ;)
