Delicious is not delicious

yuuagoI spent way too long working on the Nordic Index last night only to discover that the export function in Delicious is broken and I couldn't import it to Pinboard. Fun.
My support ticket was answered, which was really surprising, but in the meantime I'm probably going to have to manually transfer everything. For the 'dex, at least; my personal stuff might have to wait (and hopefully it will get fixed).
I held on with the "slap it on Delicious and then export" system for quite a while because even though Pinboard functions better, I prefer the tag-filtering system on Delicious - last I checked you could only filter by 3 tags on Pinboard, while there's no limit on Delicious. It'd be fine for an index for a smaller kink meme, buthetalia_kink has 27 parts and there are, for example, 300 index entries for Nordics in the last 3 parts alone... so. (And I really should get around to doing the transfer between the LJ and DW entries. I keep meaning to. But there are thousands and it's so tedious. Oh, well....)
Anyway, a preference for a minor function is what kept me going with this. But this is ridiculous. Going to have to switch to doing index on Pinboard, then (if the function gets fixed) import to Delicious. And start by manually re-indexing everything that I added last night. Oy.
Sometimes, I wonder why I still do this. I've become a little frustrated with our KM - aside from that one thing I recommended on tumblr last month or so, there hasn't been anything that I've liked in ages, so it's really hard to motivate myself to keep working on this thing. It would be fine if the systems worked perfectly, but that rarely happens.
I'll probably be less cranky about this when I wake up properly.
