Oh yes, it's fest/exchange season

yuuagoI finally received my assignment for the Nordics exchanged. Very excited! The prompts were really vague, BUT one of the pairings they requested is one that I love, and they wanted something based on a particular song, and the long and short of it is that I can totally do something with what they gave me.
It's a bit of a relief compared to the last exchanges I did, which were hella difficult. This one... I think I can do something with it.
I kind of feel sorry for the poor sod who got assigned to me, though. I decided to ask for what I wanted, rather than what is easy, so my signup has one of my ridiculous rarepairs... but I offered gen options and gave lots of prompt suggestions so it should be okay, right? (Sob)
A little disappointed that I didn't get assigned one of my friends, though. Some of my mutual follows were indeed doing this. BUT there are so many people who signed up - I guess it wasn't a likely chance.
... Oh crap, the due dates for the other fests I'm writing for are looming up ahead, I really need to get this stuff done.
