Fic progress etc

yuuagoOkay let's see....
Fest Fic #1 - for the DenIce fest. This one is maybe 80% drafted, which is good because I am so ready to be done with it. Honestly, I was not all that inspired by the prompts I received... I found something that worked, but on the whole, they were all figurative/metaphorical prompts, whereas I respond better to stuff that's concrete (IE things/actions rather than emotions.) so I'm just glad that I managed to think of something at all. Going to try to get the draft complete this weekend....
Fest Fic #2 - for the Sweden/Finland fest. I managed to slap down about 500 words on it today (though it's hard to be exactly sure, I need to type it up first). Technically I'm almost at a part where I could finish it, but I'm going to write more - I decided to make this one NSFW and I need more space to do that. But anyway, I'm glad that I got a lot done on it so far. All of the prompts for this one were really good, and it was hard to pick one.
Fest Fic #3 - for the Nordics exchange. I haven't received the prompts yet, so I'm not started. They should go out some time this week I think? Anyway, when they do go out, I really hope that I'll get something that'll be easy for me to work with. I basically said "I can write almost anything" which might have been a bad idea in retrospect. But we'll see. ... Mostly I'm concerned that it will be difficult for the mod to find a match for me, though. The pairings I asked for are kind of rare, and even though I said I'd be fine with gen interaction for all of them, I'm still a little worried haha. Oh, well.
Non-fest stuff - I have so many fics that I want to write, and I haven't been able to get work done on any of the new ones, or any ongoing stuff either. I have SO many Valiant Hearts fics I want to write... including one about the Christmas Truce, and if I want to get it done I really should start it soon, but finding time is hard. :T
