So, today I finished reading Jonas Jonasson's The 100-year-old man who climbed out the window and disappeared.
I liked it! A lot, in fact. Couldn't put it down. Which actually worked out pretty well, because I had an unusually slow work day -- but anyway. It's a delightfully absurd story, set both in modern day and in the past, about a man who goes on an adventure on his 100th birthday (while picking up several other folks along the way) and how earlier in his life he traveled around the world and got involved in all kinds of interesting political intrigues, mostly by accident.
Really enjoyable book, I found. Though it's a quick read, so I'd recommend getting it at the library, maybe.
