My brain keeps getting at me with these dumb "what if" travel scenarios for that trip I've been planning.

What if Dani thinks I'm weird and creepy because I'm so quiet and then the whole time spent in Amsterdam and Brussels is awkward as hell between us?

What if I'm so jet-lagged and out of it when I land in Reykjavik that I won't recognize Kaino when I see her?

What if there's some kind of SPONTANEOUS VOLCANIC ACTIVITY while I'm in Iceland and I don't make it to Amsterdam at all?!





Okay, the last one is probably the least likely. Probably.

Self, you need to stop worrying about dumb stuff until you have this thing booked, seriously.

... Also, man. As much as I had wished that I could've done the irresponsible thing and accepted my friend's invitation to visit her in Norway this summer, it's probably a good thing that I turned her down. There is no way I would have been able to afford to go to Europe twice in one year, even if I busted my ass with overtime. :V Wow.

*3* While Paris isn't in the cards this year, I definitely hope to go there eventually, I've heard it's lovely. And we could hang out, ahhhh!

As for this upcoming holiday, I'm sure I'll feel less nervous once I get everything solidified but right now my guts are tying themselves in knots.
