I have a mighty need to flail over doujinshi. Excuse me for a second.

I received these in the mail today. Goooorgeouuuus. That Den/Nor angstfest by Glacier in the upper-right corner? I've been wanting that thing for years. Like, ever since it came out. It's so nice to have it now; it just makes me so happy.
The Sweden/Turkey book in the upper left is my second with that pairing... well, the first was in a compilation book, but anyway. It's lovely, as to be expected, Nikita always puts together such wonderful stuff, and this is another one that I've wanted for a while. I really wish that there were more doujin artists/circles that would do Sweden-centric stuff like this (historical especially) that focuses on him interacting with characters other than Finland... I come across it so rarely, which is disappointing, because there's a lot of cool potential there. Well, whatever. Nikita never fails to impress me.
The Scandinavia Trio book in the lower-left corner is wonderful. I'm not familiar with this artist (aside from seeing their work on pixiv -- back before they axed all of it) but the art is so lovely, and it's got a ton of Denmark-Sweden friendship, ahhhhh! I've been in the mood for those two dorks lately, so it's really nice to have something that focuses on them.
Last is the Iceland doujin by Norrsken in the lower-right. Man, the art in this is just cute cute cute... but Norrsken's stuff always is. More than that though, it's just a really well put-together book. It isn't obvious just by the photo here, but when you hold it in your hands it's really obvious that a lot of work went in to designing the way that it's presented, even right down to the choice of the inside paper (it's a nice warm light-medium brown, very pretty).
:D Siiiigh getting doujinshi in the mail makes me so excited. <3
