I am tired and lazy so this entry will be point-form notes.
✿ I recently ordered a boatload of doujinshi (well, okay, not a boatload; it was actually 10) and I'm really looking forward to getting that package even though I will not receive it for quite a while. Originally I was just kind of poking around but then I saw that one of my favourite circles had released a Denmark/Sweden compilation and then I just... kept adding things to my order after that, whoops. Should be interesting, though. I'll need to get a second box to keep these in.
✿ Recently finished all that was available of Shingeki no Kyojin manga. Definitely looking forward to reading more. I just wish it was finished. :| I don't think I will be looking into fic for this fandom... but I can definitely appreciate the fanart. I don't know what manga series I will read next; I've had some suggestions, and right now the list is a little long so it's like "[/looks at list] [/raises eyebrow] [/... looks away from list]"
✿ I started attempt #2 at reading Les Miserables. I've been doing it on my itouch while on the bus home from work because the book I'm reading at home right now is a tad heavy to carry on the commute. It's... not bad. I've gotten farther than I did on the first attempt, anyway. (Book 2, ch5)
✿ Work is still kicking my ass, but at least there is a long weekend coming up.
✿ I've started a new fic, though this one is being written by hand, mostly during lunchbreak... It involves Norway and Belarus and trolls and it's going to have more of a plot than a lot of my stories usually do. It's kind of a point that I am trying to work on - plot, I mean - because I feel like it's one of my weaker points. I feel like I have a pretty decent grasp of short stories, especially romance but not limited to that. But when I try to do anything involving more of a plot, especially if it isn't romance, it's a lot more challenging. And not just writing it; part of the problem is coming up with general ideas for plot in the first place. So while this thing I'm doing now is a pretty basic adventure/friendship storyline, I think it will at least help me get some exercise in the area of writing stuff with more, y'know, plot. I think. I hope. :Va
