yuuagoI am tired as balls. Who knew that running a fest could take so much out've ya'. ... Hold on, I should know this, considering it's my third time doing something like this, geeze.
Anyway, Nordipalooza 2013 is done. Master list is here. I'll get around to commenting on everyone sometime this week, hopefully. Well, probably on Friday. I'm kind of, uh, busy with real life at the moment. That whole job thing. Yep.
Had a nice little chat today with Tik about the original stories that I want to write, and now I'm super pumped to work on them. But I'm also pumped to write Hetalia fanfiction too, and to be honest, I don't have time to write anything right now. Ain't that the way it goes. But, anyway, she soothed some of my nervousness about the story I want to write about Yuriy and Jacques, so that helped. (Yuriy's backstory is going to be a bit tricky, and I'm going to have to do some research, but I'm more confident that I can work around it now)
Mum's feeling a bit better lately, and seems to be healing nicely, but I guess we'll know for sure when she goes to get checked out, which should be some time this week I think. She really wants to be moving around more, but something tells me she'll need to be more patient about it. I don't want her hurting herself again, geeze.
Keeping up with running is really difficult lately. I'm going to keep at it, of course, but there are so many days when I get home from work, do everything that needs to be done, and then look at the clock and it's suddenly too late to go do that. Really, really frustrating, but -- well, I'll figure something out. And I should probably figure out how to reward myself when I finally reach some significant milestone. Just can't decide, but either way it'll probably be something neat from Etsy, hmmm.
