So, my mother broke her hip today.

Damn it, which god did I piss off? Seriously. This is getting ridiculous.

She's getting the surgery tonight. Aside from that, I don't know any details. Well, fine.

I'm going to be going down to Edmonton tomorrow because I can't cancel my appointment. My brother's going to drive; dad says he would rather stay home, which is probably a good decision.

Right now I'm frustrated as hell, but there isn't much that I can do about this situation at all, and that's kind of infuriating.

Oh god, that's a really lousy situation and a really lousy feeling. :( Relieved that your family has arranged thing in a way that doesn't afect your plans though.

Yeah, I'm really glad that we were able to find a way for me to get down to the city, because I really need to get this procedure done, and if this consult appointment had been cancelled, the whole thing would be delayed even more.

Mum is just... argh, what the hell, this is the third time she's been in the hospital in - I don't think it's even been two years. It's just really awful and I worry the next time it'll be even worse. orz At least it wasn't a head injury or anything but jesus fucking christ... sob.

Ugh, yeah, it sucks when it just. keeps. happening. Once is draining enough and when it all builds up...
I hope it gets easier for you somewhat at least after the whole tooth problem is taken care of. Т_Т
