The fest is getting much larger than I ever expected it would be. Haven't done a count yet, but it's almost twice what I had hoped for, and that's great. I keep hearing people say that APH is on its way out. Well, maybe it is, but the fact that there are still so many people willing to participate in an experimental, off-the-cuff fest like this is excellent.
(And I bet that by the time everything is finished, I'll have plenty of new fics to read, which is also excellent.)
What with work and fest and all my other obligations, I'm starting to feel so busy, but I'm still managing to get things done. It's great. In some ways, it's like a challenge for myself: look, I can be decent at time management when I need to be! (Or when I want to be.) It sure is exhausting, though.
Still finding time to read! Right now I'm making my way through Oscar Wilde's Picture of Dorian Gray. I've been meaning to read it for ages, because the idea interested me, but I never got around to it. Well, it has a slightly slow start, and for the first while I wanted to punch absolutely all of the characters in it, but now that I'm thoroughly into it, I'm rather enjoying it. But now we shall see what else happens...!
Should gather together the mass of pocketbooks I have about that I've already gone through and probably will never re-read. Take 'em to the used bookstore. Maybe pick something up while I'm there, hmmm... But that's something for the weekend. Ach, I hate having to plan things so far ahead of time due to work. Very annoying.

Date: 2012-03-07 08:16 pm (UTC)I went into this knowing nothing except the general concept behind the painting, so it's very interesting to find out what actually happens. ^q^
