yuuagoWell, the snow is gone (thank gods) but we're sure to have some again soon enough. I'm not thrilled with it. I'd like to have a Halloween without snow, really.
Finally finished reading Villette. Not sure what I'll be starting next. Most likely, it'll be something easy and brainless that I can read in between taking bites out of my history books. I have far too many nonfiction books that I haven't even looked at yet, and I'm itching to, but I can't read those so easily; they need to be digested, so that I can understand them properly. (And sometimes, even if I read them as carefully as I can, I still don't understand them properly. History is so complicated.)
I have been trying as of late to go through my "unread" tag on Delicious and actually, er, read some of it. My goal was to do that this year, but I won't exactly get through all of it. I will be satisfied if I get it below 100, though (right now it's at 132). Honestly, I have stories on there from all the way back in 2009. A lot of the fics on there are by authors I like, it's just that when I bookmarked it I wasn't in the mood to read that day, nor the next neither, and then I just -- forgot. Um. Anyway, when I get through a decent chunk of them (Five? Ten?) I suppose I'll make a short rec-post, though I haven't decided whether to include all of the ones I read and decided to keep in my bookmarks, or just only the ones that I liked the best.
Finally finished that Denmark-Norway story, and I'm glad of it. Now I have another story that needs to be worked on, though it won't be posted here (though it will be marked in my author tag on Delicious as per usual). It's rather long, so I have no idea when I will be finished with the revising. And I have other ideas for stories too, ones I'm itching to start, and I have two longer stories that I'm working on but not near the end yet, and -- Well, let's just say there's a lot of writing going on. At least, a lot of potential writing. To be honest, I am not exaggerating when I say that when I was on vacation in Sweden, I got more writing done than I did at home over the course of several months. Disappointing, but there it is. But I will have to find a way to turn this around at home, because I realized that I have missed writing so much.
Anyway. There it is. That story is done (still haven't decided if I want to upload it to FF.N - Possibly, but I don't know...) and I have others that need to be worked on. And the kink meme indexing is complete as of yesterday, though I'm sure I'll have to do another update very soon. That place moves so fast, sometimes I wonder how I can even keep up with it.
