yuuagoJust some things I want to get done:
✿ It is too goddamn hot tonight, and I have no idea how I'll be able to sleep. Ugh, I'm sick of the heat. It's too much. The heat and the damn thunderstorms. (On the upside, at least the thunderstorms force me to unplug for a while. That's good.)
✿ Finally watched Velvet Goldmine, after hearing people rave about it so many times. People I knew in high school thought it was faaabulous, and my ex recommended it to me too. It... isn't exactly my kind of film, to say the least, nor am I much of a glam rock fan as far as the music goes. I can see why it appealed to them, though: it's sparkly and shiny and has lots of sex and gay. Ehhh.
✿ I finally finished the scarf I've been working on for months (well, not-working-on, mostly). It's about seven feet long and very wide and very thick and I can wrap it around my face twice. Perfect for Canadian winter. If only it was real wool... but I never would've been able to afford to make it if it had been, haa (not to mention finding the right colours would be so hard). Next I'm going to try knitting a cap to go with it. I've never done anything in round before so this should be, uh, interesting.
✿ After my flip-out about writing the other day, I feel a bit better. Some frustration, but still... better. I doubt I'll be writing anything original any time soon, but at least I feel better about the whole thing.
✿ Speaking of writing - someone asked me if they could translate one of my fanfics into Chinese, aaahhhh. It was Bide Thee, Night to be specific. It just makes me so happy that a person would ask that; that they'd like it enough to want to do that. Well, they have finished it now - I was a bit surprised, but then again, it's short - and they sent me a copy. Even though I can't read it, I'm going to print it out and put it in my fic-binder and treasure it forever. *_*
