Took the weekend off because until this point I have been hella' stressed. SO, now that I have had a couple days to relax, I'll be hitting the books again. Unfortunately I slept in like whoa today; not good. On the upside, it's Victoria Day - one of those holidays that doesn't really matter much except that many people get the day off from work. Sooo maybe I'll just make this weekend a long weekend. ;p (Though I will do work today, sure enough)

Eurovision happening at various days this week and I can hardly wait. I remember how much fun it was last year, watching it with friends and doing a running commentary in chat and on the meme. I don't expect that this time around will be much different. Last time I ended up writing fic... I wonder if that will happen this time! Maybe, maybe not, depending on how much time I have. Maybe just something short.

And a while after Eurovision is the World Cup *_* Ahhh I'm so excited about that. Last time, I wasn't really able to watch any of the games, nor was I even really able to talk with anyone about it because my family doesn't like football and none of my coworkers did either. Though my family did have a small celebration when Italy won because blah blah motherland etc. Hmmm I'll be cheering for Italy this year, and also Brazil as usual, and that's probably it - unless some other team catches my eye too.

SO. Yeah, that's all. Recently my mood has been pretty good. Let's hope it stays that way!



I am still taking a break from writing because of schoolwork, but this weekend I did get a little bit done. Everything is going to slowly, though! Argh, I want to write something for 6/6 but I don't think I'll have time. Usually when it comes to fic with a set "due date" I have to start it months ahead of time, else it won't get done by that day.

I'm just going to list my current in-progress stuff for my own reference. It's hard to keep track of what I'm writing some days because there's stuff I want to write and stuff I'm partly-finished and stuff that is almost finished but needs work and... yeah.

-Nor/Swe magic and sexflip [Partway through.. nowhere near done]
-Swe/Ger PWP [IDK what I'm doing. Maybe halfway done.]
-Est/Ice University AU [Only just begun. Status = 1%]
-Nor/Est intoxication [Draft complete, needs total overhaul]
-Est/Fin glasses [Draft complete, needs total overhaul]
-Nor/Swe 1814 [Need to start again from the beginning :/ ]
-Estonia, for August 20 [Draft complete, needs overhaul]

And a few things that I want to write but probably won't get around to for a while:

-Sweden/Finland, lost letter [might write two different versions of this...]
-Uralic bromance something-or-other
-Something with Canada/Poland, I haven't written them in ages
-Poland/Estonia, continuation of Small Hours + Starry Night

Eurovision! I'm really looking forward to all the activity on the meme. It's nice to have people to watch with. I'll be watching it with my brother irl, too. Just a few more hours.

I've never been big on soccer (always found it more fun to play then watch) and I'm not really interested in any of the countries participating, so I don't know if I'll watch FIFA. But the meme did get me interested in Eurovision and the Olympics, so they very well might get me into this too. We'll see.

Oh riiight, 6/6 is coming up. I should probably do something for that. ...And oh man, Uralic bromance. Not enough fic of it if there's any at all.

It was so great last year - in spite of people complaining about the spam... though they should be used to it by now, says I, so maybe it'll go smoother this time.

Yeah, if one isn't into it, I guess it's kind of "meh"... Though toward the end of all of it, when it's narrowed down, it's kind of exciting, with the "who's gonna' win omg" kind of thing. That's what got me into it originally.

YES YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING FOR 6/6.... in my place because I don't think I'll be able to. :|
Uralic bromance is <3 and no, unfortunately, no fic exists. A few prompts floating around, but that's it. orz So disappointing! (Want something done, gotta' do it oneself)

I don't know why they complain. I dare say the meme would seem incredibly dead and empty during these kinds of things if we didn't spam. It'd be like dead hour with everyone staying in one thread and no one making new ones.

Yeah, I probably won't watch the earlier matches. Maybe the later ones, though. I still have no idea who I'd cheer for, though.

Guess you're right. I've been meaning to do some fanart of them (maybe with Poland too, 'cause he's totally Hungary's bff), but I never got around to it. Well, someday. 8D

I don't get it either. The spam today took up fewer pages than (say) the hockey spam did, and half the spam was people complaining about the spam, and, pff. I don't even know.
(... Kind of disappointed we didn't get any angry Finnish spam this time around, though. Ahaha)

Welll, my Finnish friend wasn't too thrilled when they decided to send that entry to begin with, so I'm not surprised. She was actually more annoyed by Estonia not making it in. But I'm disappointed there wasn't any angry Finnish spam too. It's so cute when they spazz out.

FINE. I'll get sketching tonight and see what I can do. But I'm totally out of practice on top of having a bad habit of never finishing anything, so we'll see.

OF COURSE. It's like killing two birds with one stone. There's not enough Uralic trio, but there's not enough Poland + Hungary either.
