Today was better than yesterday, for a variety of reasons. I think the main one, though, would be because I spent time talking with a certain friend of mine. It just made me feel better somehow. Aaa. I couldn't ask for a more steadfast companion.

Aside from that, I spent some time doing exercise today, and no doubt that helped. The other day I went out and bought a proper exercise mat, so now I can actually do all my stretches. Lemme' tell you, doing yoga on a hardwood floor isn't exactly a pleasant or comfortable experience, hah. So now that I have this, I expect I'll be doing it more often, and for longer periods of time. That's good. Even if it isn't much in terms of "exercise", it does make me feel really good, really energized. It's also a way for me to move around a bit on days when it's too cold to go outside.

Changing my sleeping patterns is going slowly, but steadily. I think. I've been getting tired at earlier (and more reasonable) times, at least. Getting up earlier, now, that's another matter entirely, and the fact that it hasn't changed much can mostly be attributed to me being a lazy ass who doesn't want to get out of his warm comfortable bed in the morning.

The other day I went to Indigo. It was a real treat, because I've only been in an Indigo once, and it was years ago. However, I didn't find anything, arrgh. You'd think that in a store that big I'd be able to find something relevant to my interests! But, nope. It's a shame, because I still have these gift cards to use. They did have some volumes of Black Jack, which is a series I've been interested in reading for quite a while now, but they didn't have the first volume so uhhh there goes that idea. Maybe I'll get it off Amazon or something, and grab the others if I like it... but I do suspect I will like it. At any rate, I'll need something easy to read soon, because right now I'm still making my way through Waverley and man, is it ever slow going.

I might end up heading to my mum's place soon. Reading week is coming up, and she wants me to visit. They're going to check flight prices and get back to me tomorrow. It's a good thing; I think a few days of being in another environment and just lazing around re-reading manga all day while my mum is at work would do me good. I'll still have to do some homework, but it's mostly simple stuff. Excellent.

Black Jack is awesome. Osamu Tezuka was the man, bro!

Actually imho if you're interested you don't really need to start from the first volume. It's mostly just short stories, so there's not much continuous plot going on. (at the beginning, at least) The only thing you'd miss are a couple of character introductions, but stuff like that is pretty easy to catch on.
