Subject what subject
Jan. 13th, 2010 11:24 pmToday was kind of a roller coaster. Man, I hate it when that happens. Maybe it's something about Wednesdays, I don't know. Anyway, spent the night not being able to sleep because it was too hot. Most of the morning and afternoon were spent trying to push down the anxiety while I tried to make appointments for school-related things. Ughhh, man. Sucks, yo. But, all the e-mails are sent out now, and that's done. I don't have to worry about it until tomorrow morning, when I will have to... check it and then, urk. Go to the meetings. Not looking forward to that.
BUT. The point is, I managed to get it all finished. Go me! (... I feel kind of lame that it takes that much effort, but there we are). Talking with Minako for a while made me feel a lot better about the whole thing. Got my mind off it for a while. 's good. I dunno, I guess talking nonsense helps me chill out. Who would've thought, eh?
The rest of the day went pretty well, though. I went to the White Cat to pick up some cheap paperbacks; Stephen King's Firestarter and Pet Sematary, also Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. I didn't even have to pay for them because I remembered that I had some credit left over from the last time I brought in some trades. Go me! Anyway, walking home with some new books and the sun shining really did wonders for my mood. Aaah, I felt so good after that.
Hand has started to feel not quite as bad, now that I've stopped knitting. It's a bummer that I had to do that, but... ah, well. Guess that's just how it has to be for a while.
