Today consisted of various kinds of fail mixed with moments of running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I slept in quite late, then spent a good chunk of the afternoon dicking around and doing homework. It was getting to be the early evening when I looked at the library website and realized the circulation desk closes at six (which pisses me off, no question, but that's a rant for another day). So I hopped the bus to head out to the school, as I needed to pick up La Grande Illusion from reserves.

Coming home was a pain in the ass. I missed the return bus, and after cursing a bit decided to just walk home, even though I wasn't properly dressed for it, because it would take a lot less time than waiting for the next one and trying to bus home during rush hour. So, I ended up with my ears frozen as hell, as I'd neglected to wear a hat (as I was operating under the assumption that I'd be able to catch the bus). Sigh. I had intended to go for a walk today, but that isn't exactly what I'd had in mind! On the other hand, at least it was nice and peaceful. Quiet. I wish it wasn't so dark out nowadays, though.

Tomorrow is going to busy. At least, I intend it to be busy. I need to finish reading a novel for English, work on an essay for Medieval, work on some stuff for CanLit, and then hopefully in the evening I'll do more work with La Grande Illusion. Sigh. Hopefully I'll end up going to bed at a relatively reasonable hour, too. If everything goes according to plan, I'll manage it.

Words cannot even describe how much I am looking forward to vacation. Oh. My. Gods. :|
