It is RAINING.

I will not be doing some of the things that I planned to do today because IT IS RAINING. Goddamn you, sky, why you such a douche? 20-minute walk in the wet, no way. I ain't mailing Tik's package today. :|

Though there are other things I need to do. Shouldn't take long.

... And then I think I might just stay in and watch Moomins all evening. :| We will see.

Wat. I just got a call saying that I have a package to pick up. Wtf? ... OHHH maybe it's the laptop battery I ordered a few days ago! But hm, that'd be awfully quick. Usually it takes a week.
Well. Looks like I need to hop on the bus and head down to 8th & Preston. :| Lovely.

AHA. It was my battery! And it works! So I was right - nothing wrong with my computer after all. It's just that the battery crapped out. Well, now I have a new one, and so I'll be able to work cordless. Convenient for the cafe, because sometimes it's very difficult to get a spot with a plug.

And also, the sun is shining, the wet is drying, and it looks like I'll be able to walk down to the post to mail Tik's package after all. Ace! ... Now I just need to get off my butt and tape it shut, hurrr.

So, I mailed Tik's package and some other things. That's one thing down, and finally that box is no longer sitting in my kitchen. But Tik-tak, if you are reading this, don't get too excited because it will probably take a while to get there. I love you very much, but not so much that I would be willing to spend $50 to mail something to you. Hurr.

I don't think I will go out for my run today. I tend to feel out of sorts when I don't do it, but it started raining again an hour or so ago, and I really do have a lot to do tonight. I think what I'll do is go to the cafe, get some homework done, and then come back home and do laundry. And watch Moomins while I wait for the laundry. Yessss.

I wish my mum wouldn't phone every day. She expects me to have something new to talk about every time. But every day is exactly the same so how could I possibly -- oh, well. I don't understand parents at all.

Ah, I'd never seen that comm before! It looks pretty interesting. Man, if I was able to write original stuff now, I might pick up something... but, I'm not, at the moment. Which is why I write fanfiction now. Hurrr.

I had an idea kicking around last year that I think I'll want to pick up again someday, but right now I just can't do it. Everything seems like it's cardboard.

If I had to write about my real life the thing would be very short. :|
Anyway, this class should be fine. I'm used to graduate seminars by now. The only difference is that this one is a very large class, 12 people or so, whereas I'm used to 4-6 people.

For me, original and fanfic are easy in different ways. One thing I always worry about with original is whether or not the premise is ridiculous. With fanfic, generally the source material is already ridiculous, so I don't have to be concerned about that. 8D

And YES you could have been writing all summer, sob. Oh well.

So I said "Kyuugatsu".

It's actually "Kuugatsu."

Then I spilled coffee on my sweatshirt.
